Garry & Warren Smith
Learner 2 Probationary Driver Program

We wish Anisa, Michelle and the team at South East community Links all the best with their two new L2P vehicles which were delivered on Thursday 29th of September 2016. We wish you all the best with your new vehicles and hope they help educate the youth of the City of Monash and City of Kingston on how to drive.

Oh Wiat joined SECL's L2P program in April 2015 and was matched with his first mentor, Jijoe Mathews. Together they formed a great leaner/mentor relationship and had some amazing driving experiences. Unfortunately Jijoe had to leave L2P program due to personal reasons and Oh Wiat was matched with Peter Fellows in June 2016. Peter has been an incredible mentor assisting Oh Wiat and another leaner Javid at the same time. Peter's dedication and his positive attitude has made the driving experience even more rewarding for his learners. Javid is going for his test tomorrow and we may have another P-plater soon.

Keisha Nash joined the L2P program in December 2015 and was matched with Ed Perkins. It has been a perfect match from day one and an ideal learner/mentor relationship. Ed has been a wonderful mentor with extremely positive attitude and patience.

Although it hasn't been easy mentoring a nervous learner, Ed's calm and friendly personality helped Keisha improve her driving skills. It has been remarkable to see Keisha's transformation from a nervous learner with low self-esteem to a confident and a smart young girl.

Kristina Lebessis joined our L2P program in December 2015 and was matched with our long-standing volunteer, Ralph Wildenberg. Kristina too has been an ideal learner contributing to the effectiveness of SECL's L2P program. Ralph and Kristina formed a great mentor/learner relationship and have had some amazing driving experiences.
